Christmas in July Swap

Here is an inspiration for all you wan-ta-be crafters out there. Over at Club Posh we just did our annual Christmas in July swap. Wow! you should see all the goodies my friends at the club are getting. I am amazed at how generous all these crafters are. The idea is that we take whatever we want to share from our personal stash and send it to one of the members that has been randomly chosen for us and in turn someone gets our name and sends a package to us. I just received mine and I am thrilled. Here is a picture of all the stull I got. If you would go out and buy all this it would be a pretty penny. I am so grateful to be part of such a wonderful club.

Blog Hop at StampTV

I have just been over to StampTV for their blog-hop and OMG this was one of the best they have ever had. They have a design team to die for. If you have not been there, I sincerely suggest that you visit them. Wonderful stamps, wonderful creative designers.

Still working out the kinks of my scenery. I see all the beauty but sometimes have trouble putting it down on paper. Here is another small piece of art to entertain myself. This was done for an ATC swap and it was very hard to send it away. Fortunately the person who received it loved it.
Let me know what you think about my small attempts at scenery art.

Away for a while

As all of us I have had some heartache lately so I have not wanted to be very creative. I am starting to be inspired again and hope you like what I have done. We sometimes take for granted the wonder world around us. Take a look out your window one day and take a picture with your eyes or your camera. Put it down on cardstock, make a card and send it to a friend. You neve know when they need to be inspired. Mary

St. Patrick's Day

Well folks, It is almost 3 months into the year and I don't know where the time went. I have been very active in our Shepherd Center here in my town and I am loving every minute of it. I teach papercrafts to these lovely members and we just have a ball. This last session we made boxes, cards booklets and book marks. At the end of our 8 weeks we have a show and tell and it's a lot of fun. All the teachers and all the students show off their prizes and get to brag a bit.  Here is a small sample of the class we had on St. Patrick's Day.

It is getting warmer here in the south and I am just in heaven. I Hate The Winter. It's time to think of spring and the lovely cards we can make for Easter and babies and weddings and just fun things. Here is a little spring card for just saying "Happy Spring. Jump right in and show me some of your spring projects. The images are from IBFS. Come on over the The Brakefast Club and join in the fun.Mary

Monday Musings

My muse has left me today so I will only chat for a little bit. I am teaching at the Shepherd Center in our town and I need some inspiration for the next class. We do boxes, cards and anything else I can think of with paper and cardboard. I love to stamp and love to teach but sometimes we all need to get some advice or feedback from other crafters. If you have an idea, please jot it down , maybe you will see your name here on a card. I always give the proper credits to my work. Well I have to go now.

Sunday Sentiments

Hi!
It's Sunday evening and I am getting ready for another stamp class on Thursday. The problem is I am having a hard time decideing which technique I want to teach this week. I will probably do the distressed background victorian card. Here is a picture of it:My group will like it because they don't have to do too much work on it and they can change the sentiment to anything they want. Here is says Thinking of you but it could say Happy Birthday or Just for you. I love giving them projects that they can change to make it more suitable for them. Well, let me know what you think. Talk again soon. Mary

Terrible Tuesday

Well, I seem to have lost all of my blogs from last year and can't seem to find any posts so we begin again. This is a new year and I am going to follow my passion and make, sell, show, give, teach anyone who wants to know anything about making cards. Now, the problem is "What is a card". It can be a greeting card, a label card, an atc card, so many cards, so little time. Tell me about your cards, what do you like, what don't you like, where do you get them, do you make them, the questions are endless........Here is one of my cards:
